Kellen is back for his 4th season coaching the Stampede. Kellen graduated in 2002 from Seattle Prep where he played golf and baseball for 3 years. He then attended University of Portland where he graduated with a Business degree in 2006. After college, he coached the Irish baseball Club, a 17 and under Junior American Legion team for the 2007 season prior to joining the Stampede. Kellen also coaches basketball at Foster High School in Tukwila.
